It is the ultimate nationwide source for Patient Assistance Programs that provide free or low cost prescription medicine to low-income people who are uninsured or under-insured and meet the guidelines.

NeedyMeds serves as a one-stop resource for information on prescription drug assistance programs that provide drugs to eligible participants at little or no cost. NeedyMeds is not a health plan with a formulary (list of covered drugs), rather it maintains a list of prescription drugs by generic and brand name that are currently available through a range of assistance programs. The website has information on over 300 companies and state and local programs that help people with prescriptions.
